Synopsis:

Queen Idia, an orphan from birth, loses her father a few weeks before she is born, and her mother shortly after her birth. Raised by her uncle, she defies the odds to become a strong, fearless, and beautiful woman, eventually becoming the queen of the Benin Kingdom in Nigeria's Midwestern region. Her main objective upon ascending the throne is to bring about positive change in the Kingdom.
